FROM VIRGINIA SPIRITCARE BOARD​ - A SPECIAL THANK YOU

We would like to say thank you for the support that you have given to our retired ministers, spouses, and widows this past year.  Your support has meant more than you can imagine. Your giving, both individually and through your churches, is such a blessing in helping LIFT them up.

The offering that your church sent in for Reformation Sunday, 25% of that gift goes toward emergency assistance, and 75% will provide a financial blessing at Christmas. This is a tangible way to say they are remembered and valued for a lifetime of ministry, and as we LIFT them up, God blesses those who bless his chosen ones.

You also make a meaningful difference by supporting our retired ministers during Senior Adult Day on the campground. This year it was a day we will always remember; we had over 505 people register and 51 churches come and worship together.  

The senior adults were such an encouragement to our retired ministers. Everyone enjoyed the presence of the Lord as we lifted each other up through fellowship, breaking bread, taking pictures, and enjoying praise and worship along with the preached word.

Thank you, Bishop Barry Clardy, and the State Council for your leadership in helping us LIFT up those who have paved the way before us.
