Wednesday morning through Friday morning, our special guest is Bishop Corder who will be sharing a Bible Study in both morning sessions each day of Camp Meeting.
Bishop Mitchell Corder is the Executive Administrator of the Division of Care. The Division of Care includes several benevolent organizations with roots in the Church of God. While some operate independently of the Church of God, they maintain close ties and regularly coordinate with assistance and projects. Organizations under the Division of Care include Operation Compassion, Chaplains Commission, Ministerial Care, SpiritCare, Ministry to Israel, Smoky Mountain Children’s Home, Iris B. Vest SpiritCare Center and Prayer Ministries.
Bishop Mitchell Corder began his vocational ministry nearly 40 years ago as a church planter in New England and served faithfully and effectively in pastoral ministry for over 19 years. Following a significant time of pastoral ministry at the Plant City Church of God in Florida, Bishop Corder was appointed as the State Evangelism and Home Missions Director for the state of Florida, and later as State Administrative Bishop for the states of Kansas, Michigan, Virginia and Tennessee. He has served on the Church of God International Council of Eighteen and other numerous committees at the international church level. Most recently, he was appointed by the Church of God International Executive Committee to the position of Executive Administrator of the Division of Care.
Bishop Corder’s passion is to build the Kingdom of God through leadership development and facilitating ministry partnerships. Most importantly, he is husband to Wendy, and father to his grown and married daughters, Sarah and Hannah.
