George Moxley

Tuesday night of Camp Meeting our special guest speaker is George Moxley.

Bishop George E. Moxley is passionate about teaching and training. He has been the keynote speaker for numerous Ministry Training Conferences, church and state hosted seminars, conferences, revivals and Camp Meetings both in the United States and abroad. He has also been involved in numerous ministerial, pastoral and layman training conferences in the United States, Spain, South Africa, Ireland, Jamaica and the Bahamas. 

He and his wife, Debbie have been in full time ministry for 28 years. He served as Senior Pastor from 1990 through 2015 and has served on the State Council, State Youth Board, State Evangelism Board and International Youth Board for the Church of God as well as local and community boards. They live in Jesup, Georgia where he served as Senior Pastor of the Unity Church of God for 17 years. While serving as pastor he was actively involved in church revitalization, restarting two churches and assisting in the revitalization of another.   

He has taken a new prospective in ministry and is now serving as an evangelist/revivalist travelling around the nation spreading the Good News of Christ. Along with this new avenue of ministry he has been partnered with USA Missions Church Revitalization initiative and is personally mentoring several young pastors as well as hosting Impact Leadership Conferences to help train pastors and church leaders. His passion is to see people come to Christ and to help strengthen Pastors and the churches they pastor.

Mitchell Corder

Wednesday morning through Friday morning, our special guest is Bishop Corder who will be sharing a Bible Study in both morning sessions each day of Camp Meeting.

Bishop Mitchell Corder is the Executive Administrator of the Division of Care. The Division of Care includes several benevolent organizations with roots in the Church of God. While some operate independently of the Church of God, they maintain close ties and regularly coordinate with assistance and projects. Organizations under the Division of Care include Operation Compassion, Chaplains Commission, Ministerial Care, SpiritCare, Ministry to Israel, Smoky Mountain Children’s Home, Iris B. Vest SpiritCare Center and Prayer Ministries. 

Bishop Mitchell Corder began his vocational ministry nearly 40 years ago as a church planter in New England and served faithfully and effectively in pastoral ministry for over 19 years. Following a significant time of pastoral ministry at the Plant City Church of God in Florida, Bishop Corder was appointed as the State Evangelism and Home Missions Director for the state of Florida, and later as State Administrative Bishop for the states of Kansas, Michigan, Virginia and Tennessee. He has served on the Church of God International Council of Eighteen and other numerous committees at the international church level. Most recently, he was appointed by the Church of God International Executive Committee to the position of Executive Administrator of the Division of Care. 

Bishop Corder’s passion is to build the Kingdom of God through leadership development and facilitating ministry partnerships. Most importantly, he is husband to Wendy, and father to his grown and married daughters, Sarah and Hannah.

John D. Childers

Wednesday night of Camp Meeting our special guest speaker is John D. Childers.

Dr. John D. Childers currently serves as the Secretary General of the Church of God located in Cleveland, Tennessee. Since his election at the 2016 General Assembly his role as serving as a member of the International Executive Committee has included a portfolio which covers a wide variety of ministries including Business and Records, Discipleship Division and Communications. 

Previously Dr. Childers served as the Assistant General Director of Church of God World Missions. Church of God World Missions is the missions administrative division of the Church of God International Offices located in Cleveland, Tennessee. World Missions serves 181 countries and territories representing almost 30,000 churches, more than 36,000 ministers and almost six million members. Throughout his ministry, Bishop Childers has attained comprehensive and mature experience in the following: pastoral ministry; administrative and executive leadership at the local, state and international levels; extensive youth ministry; conference management; church planting initiative; noted speaker; and much more. 

During his ministry career, Bishop Childers has served the Church of God in a wide spectrum of ministry activities. He has served in local church pastoral ministry; State Youth and Christian Education Director in numerous states such as Alabama, North Georgia, Tennessee and DelMarVa/DC; Assistant International Director of Youth and Christian Education; International Director of Youth and Christian Education; Administrative Bishop of Northern Ohio and Alabama; member of the Executive Council; member of Church of God International General Assembly Cabinet; Chairman, International Youth & CE Board; Board of Directors, Peniel Rehabilitation Ministry, Johnstown, PA; and member of numerous boards and committees. 

Travis Ballinger

Thursday and Friday nights of Camp Meeting our special guest speaker is Travis Ballinger.

Travis and Sharon Ballinger have a passion to see people encounter the presence of The Lord through worship and experience the fullness of The Holy Spirit’s power. Also, they have a heart for pastors, their families and the unique challenges they face. 

Their journey together started over 23 years ago at Lee university, since that time they have served as youth pastors, worship and music pastors, associate pastors and for the past 15 years as senior pastors.  Both Sharon and Travis  serve on various boards and committees on the state and national level. 

Currently they are the senior pastors of the Redemption Point Church of God in Ooltewah TN and they have 2 teenage children Alyssa and Thaddeus.
