NEW HOPE CHURCH OF GOD HELPING LOCAL PARENTS WITH UPCOMING DIAPER DRIVE

CHRISTIANSBURG, VA — No parent should ever have to choose between making Christmas special or buying essential diapers for their baby. To help ease this burden for local families, a collective community effort is underway at New Hope Church of God, located at 1404 Mudpike Road in Christiansburg.

The initiatives kick off with a Community Diaper Drive collection event on Saturday, November 21st, from Noon to 3:00 PM. Organizers are calling on community members who have been blessed and are able to help those in need to drop off donations.

The items most critically needed include:

• Diapers (All sizes are welcome, with a special emphasis on sizes 3–7)

• Pull-Ups (All sizes)

• Fragrance-Free Baby Wipes

• Monetary Donations (Also gratefully accepted to help purchase additional supplies)

Following the collection, a Distribution Drive will take place on Saturday, December 5th, 2026, from 9:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the same location. During this event, families in need will receive a full month's supply of diapers and wipes.

To ensure adequate supplies are available, registration is required for all families receiving assistance. If you are in need of diapers, or if you have questions about donating, you are urged to register or reach out by calling or texting 540-392-4808.

The need in our community is great, and any contribution—large or small—will be deeply appreciated and will go directly to this project.
