VIRGINIA Speakers at CM26 in Focus - Bishop Terry Swiney
HIGHLIGHTS OF TUESDAY NIGHT OF CAMP MEETING!
Tuesday night, June 16th at Valley Church in Roanoke, we will be honoring faithful ministers and celebrating new leaders pursuing their ministry credentials.
That night, our very own Virginia ministers will be sharing in the Word. The next speaker on the program Tuesday will be Bishop Terry Swiney. He will highlight the evening’s Ordination Ceremony and those receiving their Ordained Bishop Credentials.
Here’s a short bio on Bishop Swiney:
Pastor Terry D. Swiney is a seasoned ministry leader with 35 years of full-time experience, traveling as a State Evangelist in Virginia for four years and serving for more than three decades as a lead pastor. He currently serves as the pastor of Parkview Church of God, where he is leading the congregation through growth, revitalization, renewed missional focus, and deeper community engagement.
He has a passion for leading people to Christ, developing disciples, and mobilizing the local church for both local and global missions. Pastor Swiney holds a Bachelor of Science in Biblical Studies from Lee University, with a professional emphasis in Intercultural Studies and a minor in Christian Education.
He and his wife, Donna, also a Lee University graduate, have been married for 36 years and are the proud parents of two adult children..
We are grateful to our Virginia speakers for being part of Camp Meeting 2026, Celebrating Ministers and Ministry.
