Bishop Doug Baker is an Ordained Bishop through the Church of God and is educated through Lee University. He has a passion to see Christ proclaimed and the Church advanced. He has helped that advancement as an evangelist, church planter, pastor, and overall denominational leader.
Since February of 2007, he has served as Senior Pastor of City Church in Gadsden, AL, leading this local fellowship into exponential growth through rebranding, spiritual renewal, physical expansion, and overall transformation; all while maintaining a commitment to the reality and power of Pentecost.
Pastor Baker embraces the mission of Christ in every role. The role he embraces and enjoys the most is being Pam’s husband for 26 years, Dad to Ruthie, Andrew, and Kenan, and Granddad to Landry Kate!
Bishop Rob Bailey serves the Church of God as the International Youth and Discipleship Director.
For over 30 years, he has served the Lord in numerous ministerial roles. Before his election to the International Offices, he served as the State Youth and Discipleship Director for the Church of God in New Mexico, Oklahoma, Texas, and South Carolina. He has also served the local church as a lead pastor, associate pastor, worship leader, and youth pastor. He has served on numerous boards and committees including the International Youth and Christian Education Board, International Discipleship Divisional Board, National Youth Leaders Association Board, Operation Compassion Board, and Aboud Christian School Board.
He is an alumnus of Cleveland High School, Lee University, and Southwest Bible College and has received his Bachelor of Arts in Pastoral Ministry and a Master of Arts in Pastoral Counseling. He is a recipient of two awarded Doctorates of Divinity from SEMISUD as well as the Asian Seminary of Christian Ministry. Rob is a veteran of the United States Marine Corps and proudly served his country.
His partner in life, love, and ministry is his wife Christal and God has blessed them with four children, and four grandchildren.
Bishop Tony Stewart currently serves as second assistant general overseer of the Church of God. From 2014-2018 he served as chair of the Church of God International Executive Council and previously for ten years on the Church of God World Missions Board of Directors.
He has a history of impactful ministry at the local church level, focusing on church health and evangelism.
For over 15 years, he, and his wife, Kaci, have served as lead pastors of CityLife Church, Tampa, Florida, a multigenerational church with three campuses that was named as one of the fastest growing churches in America by Outreach magazine and Lifeway Research.
Bishop Stewart is an alumnus of Lee University and holds degrees from Life Christian University, and an Honorary Doctor of Divinity degree from Asian Seminary of Christian Ministries (May 2023). He is the author of The Door to More.
He and his wife, Kaci, are the parents of two daughters.
Reverend Rhonda Holland is an Ordained Minister with the Church of God and serves as a Women's Ministries Conference & Retreat Speaker, author, minister and teacher of the Word.
She is a wife, mom and grandmother and she loves her family dearly. She and her husband Kenneth Holland have been married for 42 years and reside in Aiken, SC.
For over 29 years, Rhonda has worked on staff at Mercy Church where she and her husband attend and are involved in various areas of ministry.
She has a real passion and desire to minister to the Body of Christ in these last days. Her heart for God and her love for the Word are felt as she ministers to those hurting and hungry for His presence.
Rhonda is the author of encouraging Bible studies written to enhance our walk with Christ. These studies are available through the Church of God Adult Discipleship Department.
Dr. John D. Childers currently serves as the Assistant Director of Church of God World Missions located in Cleveland, Tennessee. Previously Dr. Childers served as the Secretary General of the Church of God (2016-2022) and as the Assistant General Director of Church of God World Missions (2012-2016). As Secretary General, his role included a portfolio which covered Business and Records, Discipleship Division, and Communications.
During his ministry career, Bishop Childers has served the Church of God in a wide spectrum of ministry activities. He has served in local church pastoral ministry; State Youth and Christian Education Director in numerous states such as Alabama, North Georgia, Tennessee and DelMarVa/DC; Assistant International Director of Youth and Christian Education; International Director of Youth and Christian Education; Administrative Bishop of Northern Ohio and Alabama; member of the Executive Council; member of Church of God International General Assembly Cabinet; Chairman, International Youth & CE Board; Board of Directors, Peniel Rehabilitation Ministry, Johnstown, PA; and member of numerous boards and committees.
He has experienced success both within the Church of God and as a representative to a wide variety of external public and religious groups including engagement with various global missions’ agencies and many parachurch youth organizations. Bishop Childers is an innovative, energetic leader who has a passion for excellence in kingdom ministry.
Bishop Childers is an alumnus of Lee University. He and his wife Debbie are the parents of two sons, Jonathan, married to Vanessa; and Jeremy, married to Lori. John and Debbie are grandparents to Eli, Austyn and Autumn.
Bishop T. Wayne Dority, D.D., serves as the State Administrative Bishop of Tennessee. He has served as General Director of Publications for the Church of God, as well as the Director of Multi-Cultural Ministries USA and Canada.
Bishop Dority came to Tennessee, having served with excellence as the Administrative Bishop of the Pacific Northwest, Texas, and most recently, Ohio.
He has served on the International Executive Council, World Missions Board of Directors, European Theological Seminary Board of Directors, Pentecostal Seminary Board of Directors, State Council, Youth and Christian Discipleship, Evangelism and Home Missions. Having pastored for twenty-two years, Bishop Dority carries a special burden for clergy and churches.
He holds a Degree in Theology, as well as a Commercial Pilot Rating.
Shelly, his wonderful wife of over 40 years, joins him in ministry.
