VIRGINIA Speakers at CM26 in Focus - Dr. Rodney Vickers
HIGHLIGHTS OF TUESDAY NIGHT OF CAMP MEETING!
Tuesday night, June 16th at Valley Church in Roanoke, we will be honoring faithful ministers and celebrating new leaders pursuing their ministry credentials.
That night, our very own Virginia ministers will be sharing in the Word. The first on the program Tuesday will be Dr. Rodney Vickers. He will highlight the evening’s special memorial service as we take time out to honor those ministers that have passed away over the last year.
Here’s a short bio on Dr. Vickers:
Dr. Rodney Vickers came to Azalea Garden Church in August 2006 to serve as Executive Pastor. In 2011, Pastor Rodney was promoted to the position of Senior Pastor. In addition to his service at AGC, Rodney has also served as an evangelist, church planter, pastor, and hospice chaplain. He is an Ordained Bishop in the Church of God and both Rodney and Angela are graduates of Lee University. Rodney also holds a Master of Divinity from the Pentecostal Theological Seminary and a Doctor of Ministry in Marriage and Family Therapy from Gordon-Conwell Theological Seminary. For fun, Rodney enjoys playing basketball with his sons, watching John Wayne westerns, and pulling for the North Carolina Tar Heels and the Pittsburgh Steelers. Rodney and Angela have been married for 25 years, and are the proud parents of two sons, Andrew and Will, one Golden Retriever, Winston, and an Aussie Doodle, Marbles.
Tomorrow we will be focusing on another of our Virginia speakers on VA Church of God State News, as we highlight Camp Meeting 2026, Celebrating Ministers and Ministry.
Make plans now to join us for this memorable opening night of Camp Meeting.
