PRAYER POINTS: VA Prayer Chain, February 9-15

PRAYER CHAIN 2025

General Overseer Bishop Gary Lewis and our Executive Committee have designated the year 2025 as a year of continual prayer for the Church of God. Every hour of every day throughout the year, someone from the Church of God will be calling on the name of the Lord. Each State/Region is being asked to lead a prayer initiative for one week. Virginia has committed to pray for 7 days, 24 hours each day, during the week of February 9-15.

Here is a suggested list of Prayer Points:

• Pray for the Holy Spirit to guide and direct the ministries of Virginia Church of God.

• Pray for the pastors, ministers and members across the Commonwealth. 

• Pray for the evangelism of lost souls and for discipleship-making around our state.

• Pray that the United States of America will return to its biblical roots, and we will bring honor to God in all that we do.

• Pray for the peace of Jerusalem. 

• Pray for the healing of those who are sick in their bodies.

• Pray for marriages and families around our nation. 

• Pray for the next generation: children, teenagers, and young adults.

• Pray for those in authority over us, leaders in our cities, counties, states, our nation, and around the world. 

• Pray that God will be glorified in all that happens in His Church and that we will be an active Church, prepared for the soon coming of the Lord.
