Ministry Opportunity as Children's Pastor in Chesterfield

The following position is open at City of Refuge Church of God in Chesterfield, Virginia.

Part Time Position:

 

Children’s Pastor

Ideal candidate should have:

  • 2 years experience in children’s ministry in a contemporary church setting.

  • Experience in building and leading a team of volunteers.

  • A passion for teaching children.

Primary responsibility is to oversee the children’s ministry at City of Refuge, which includes the following:

  • Develop/implement Sunday Morning/Midweek programming to teach each child at an age appropriate level.

  • Plan and oversee special events including VBS, Fall Festivals, youth camps, etc….

  • Enlist, train, resource, and encourage adult leadership and other volunteers.

  • Develop and oversee annual children’s ministry budget.
