KidCon 2026 - Ready, Set, Send
Dear Pastors and Children’s Ministry Leaders,
We are so excited to invite your children to join us for Ready, Set, Send KidCon 2026 at Covenant Fellowship in Bristol, VA on Saturday, August 1, 2026. We believe God is raising up the next generation not just to know about Him, but to truly know Him, discover the gifts He has placed inside of them, and boldly carry His love into the world around them.
Ready, Set, Send is a one-day Kingdom equipping experience for children ages 6–12 filled with worship, teaching, activities, and hands-on ministry opportunities. Throughout the day, kids will be encouraged to discover how God uniquely created them and how their gifts can be used to build His Kingdom. From worship and creative arts to outreach, media, production, and communication, each child will have the opportunity to participate in a breakout session designed to help them understand that they are never too young to be used by God.
But this experience does not end when the conference ends. The children will have the opportunity to take the skills, gifts, and lessons they discover throughout the day and put them into action the very next morning during service on Sunday, August 2. Those of you who will be sending your children from other churches, will have access to our implementation plans so your church can join in celebrating, encouraging, and making space for this next generation of Kingdom leaders to serve on Sunday, August 2. Our heart is not just for Covenant Fellowship, but for the Church as a whole. We want to welcome children from churches all across our region to come together as we invest in a generation that is called, equipped, and sent with purpose. As 1 Peter 4:10 reminds us, “God has given each of you a gift from his great variety of spiritual gifts. Use them well to serve one another." We would love for your church family to join us and partner together as we pour into the next generation. Registration information and additional details are included in the attached flyer.
On the day of the conference, child drop off will be from 10:00–10:15 AM. We ask parents to remain with us in the sanctuary as we open the day together and share important information about the event. Parents will be released at 10:30 AM. We also invite parents, families, and church leaders to return at 3:30 PM to join the children for a special showing of the movie David as we celebrate all God has done throughout the day.
