Full Time Job Openings at VA COG State Office
The Church of God in Virginia is currently seeking qualified, motivated individuals to fill two vital positions at our state campground. These roles are essential to the ongoing excellence, functionality, and hospitality of our facilities, which serve as a hub for ministry events, camps, retreats, and gatherings throughout the year.
Maintenance Supervisor
We are looking for a dependable, experienced individual to serve as Maintenance Supervisor. This person will be responsible for overseeing the overall upkeep and operational readiness of the campground. Duties include, but are not limited to, routine maintenance, preventative care, troubleshooting and repair of equipment and systems, grounds maintenance, and coordination of improvement projects. They will also need be able to manage tasks efficiently and respond promptly to maintenance needs. A high level of organization, initiative, and problem-solving ability is essential, as well as a commitment to maintaining a safe and excellent environment.
Facilities Cleaning Coordinator
We are also seeking a detail-oriented and dependable individual to serve as Facilities Cleaning Coordinator. This role involves both hands-on cleaning responsibilities and the oversight of cleanliness standards across all campground buildings and facilities. Responsibilities include ensuring that lodging areas, meeting spaces, restrooms, and common areas are consistently clean, sanitized, and ready for use. This individual will help develop and maintain cleaning schedules, manage supplies, and ensure a high standard of presentation and hospitality for all guests. The ideal candidate will take pride in their work, demonstrate consistency and thoroughness, and understand the importance of creating a welcoming environment for ministry.
These positions play a crucial role in supporting the mission and ministry of the Church of God in Virginia. The effectiveness of our campground directly impacts the experience of those who attend events and encounter God on these grounds.
