Experience Missions - Scholarship Program

 

The Virginia Missions Board is excited to offer the following scholarship opportunities for pastors in Virginia interested in participating in a mission trip experience.

Total cost for each trip is $2,100 per person.

FIRST-TIME MISSION TRIP PARTICIPANTS

Lead/Senior Pastors who have not previously participated in a mission trip will have approximately $750 in out-of-pocket expenses for travel, lodging, and meals. Please note that each participant will be responsible for personal spending money not covered by the trip costs.

LOCAL CHURCH ENGAGEMENT

Our goal is for each selected participant to engage their local church in supporting the remaining costs of the trip, fostering a connection to the mission field. If selected, the trip leader will reach out to you to discuss trip details and the associated costs. Please be prepared to commit to covering the non-scholarshipped funds needed to secure your spot. If unable to do so, your space may be offered to another applicant.

APPLICATION DEADLINE

We must have your application and commitment into the State Office by Nov. 15. In the event that we are unable to fill the 3 slots, they will open to the next selected Lead Pastor whose application was received by the deadline.
