In His final and Great Commission, Jesus commanded us to “…go and make disciples of all nations…” “…teaching them to obey everything I have commanded you…” Matt. 28:19-20

By developing and designing your own discipleship initiative, you and your church will be faithful to Christ’s command. Today you have the wonderful opportunity of helping to introduce your church to a deeper experience with our Lord Jesus Christ. According to thousands of surveys, we have discovered that most Christians have not learned how to live victorious Christian lives in the power of the Holy Spirit.

Most people want to be a good Christian, but they struggle with the problem: “When I want to do good, I don’t; and when I try not to do wrong, I do it anyway. Now if I am doing what I don’t want to do, it is plain where the trouble is: sin still has me in its evil grasp.” Rom 7:19-20 TLB

By helping them get rooted and grounded deeper in God’s word, they will begin to understand who they are in Christ and the power that is available to help them to walk in the spirit. They are more than a conquerer thru Christ Jesus. Discipleship is forming them in the practices and postures that He has instructed through His word.

May God richly bless you as you discover the exciting adventure of “Focusing on Discipleship” in the life of your church in accordance to His Command.
