HOPE DRIVE --November 6, 2016

“. . . he who has two coats, let him share with him who has none; and he who has food, let him do likewise.” Luke 3: 11

Please bring the following items to help our missionary to the poor:

  • New or lightly used and recently cleaned coats and blankets -­‐ please no clothing!
  • Unwrapped Christmas toys for boys and girls: Ages 4-­‐15 at/about

$10.00 each we suggest basketballs or footballs for boys and dolls for girls, among other things. Remember, if buying baby dolls, 85% of our community is African American.

  • Non-­‐perishable food/household supplies
  • A cash offering to help us during this difficult time

Frank and Wendy Allen have served as Church of God missionaries to the poor since 1992. Their ministry’s foot print remains strongest in the inner city of Portsmouth, VA  (in the Greater Norfolk Metropolis) and reaches out to inner cities, rural poverty pockets, Native American Reservations and migrant camps across Virginia, throughout the United States and into 26 of the poorest countries of the world.
